So Who Is Right?

At the risk of spoiling a perfectly hilarious post by bringing theology into it, who was right, the Presbyterian or the Catholic? Do dogs go to heaven?

There really is a pretty good answer found in the Bible. What do you think?

Don't know the Biblical answer, but I would think yes, they do...they're God's creatures, too. Although, the dog we had when we first got married might not have made it in...she wasn't a very nice dog. Maybe only nice dogs go to Heaven? I can't wait for you to enlighten the blog world with the theology of this topic!

There's one brave soul who's willing to give it a shot. Always good to hear from you, Melissa.

I'll post my answer soon.

of course dogs get to heaven! Who else would tree the cats??!!!

Im going to say no they dont. It would be pretty messed up in old testament days to sacrifice the goat with a soul. Or maybe dogs get souls and goats dont? I doubt it.

I met an insomniac agnostic with dyslexia who stayed up all night wondering if there really was a Dog!

There will be animals on the "New Earth"....and the only one I know of that loves unconditionally must be there!

C.S. Lewis says that if their "owners" are Christians, then their dogs will go to heaven. On one hand, dogs can't accept Jesus. On the other hand, God loves us and we love our dogs (most of the time), so it would seem that God would allow us the pleasure of continuing that relationship in heaven.
